Dr. John Bishara, DDS

Since earning his DDS in 1999, Dr. John Bishara has dedicated his career to General and Cosmetic Dentistry, helping patients of all ages achieve healthier, more confident smiles. He began practicing in St. Simons Island, where he spent his first four years in dentistry before moving to Marietta, Georgia, to establish his own practice. In 2010, Dr. Bishara completed a one-year residency at MCG specializing in dental implants, further expanding his ability to provide comprehensive dental care for his patients.

Dr. Bishara's interest in dentistry began long before he became a dentist. Growing up, he and his family regularly visited their family dentist, and he became fascinated by the ability to help people repair and improve their teeth. That early experience ultimately inspired him to pursue dentistry as a lifelong career. Today, he particularly enjoys helping patients improve their smiles, find solutions for dental pain, and improve their overall oral health. But for Dr. Bishara, dentistry is about more than treating teeth. "I enjoy helping people improve their smile, solve dental pain, and connecting with them," he says. Getting to know his patients personally and building relationships with them is an important part of the care he provides.

Dr. Bishara enjoys treating both adults and children and takes pride in creating a welcoming dental environment where individuals and families can receive the care they need. From preventive and routine dental care to restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, his goal is to provide personalized treatment based on each patient's individual needs. He remains committed to continuing education so he can continue bringing modern techniques and technology to his patients.

His patients describe him as thorough, honest, and genuinely caring. Many patients have continued seeing him for more than a decade, with some relationships spanning more than 20 years. That long-term loyalty reflects the trust Dr. Bishara has built with generations of patients and families — and remains one of the things he values most about being a dentist.
